Just because

Since I earlier brought up Street Fighter, Street Fighter: The movie and um, stupid "things" I guess, there's a movie I need to share with you.

In fact, I'd go as far as saying that you have never been truly alive unless you've seen this. This is from a SF VR ride*. The ride of your life.

*You know, those stupid pseudo-3D things they used to have in fairs back in the 90's.

My god... that was just... awesome. My favorite part? "I'm gonna rip your heart out!" "I don't have a heart!"

Stunning.

It's great how they manged to put every intellectual property they could get their hands on into the context of a spaceship flying around.

I imagine that back in the day some SF fanboys found some of the renders of the characters from that and started talking about a 3D version. Assuming that was before the actual 3D SF games.

Remember those test renders of Locke from FF6?

Haha yeah, that's my favorite part as well.

The first 3D SF game, EX, was released in late 1996, and this thing looks a bit older than that, though I'm not sure. So yeah, I can easily see SF fanboys getting total nerdrections from this movie, and wondering if this would become SF3, in 3D.

How could anyone forget those test renders? Though back then I had been fooled into believing it was the unreleased N64 version haha.
